Strata
Sited on the University of Alabama, Birmingham campus this sculpture attempts to honor the past which has given rise to the present and future. What was once a working class neighborhood of Victorian homes was raised to make room for the institutional architecture of the present day campus.
Materials: Cor-Ten steel, aluminum, cast iron, asphalt.
Measures 32’ tall.
