This sculpture was commissioned for the Shelby County Arts Council, Columbiana, Alabama.
The work acknowledges the relationship between the historic agricultural and industrial past of this community and how that past gives rise to our present culture.
Materials: Cor-Ten steel, cast bronze, silicon carbide crucible, vintage mill stone found on the construction site, vintage furnace bricks from a near by foundry.
